When the window wrap was removed (installed by the vinyl siding contractor), it was apparent that the windows were rotting behind the wrap. Under normal circumstances, this would not have been noticed until the sill completely rotted or after significant water infiltration.

The entire window (including the frame) was removed from the rough opening. The remaining interior trim was saved and re-used with the new window.

Once the siding and trim are installed, the window looks like it belongs there. The new window not only looks better, but is easy to maintain and MUCH more efficient than the old window unit. This window (and 2 others) were replaced in only a day. Prefinishing the interior made the process much...
