I believe that any home can be salvaged and this is a good example. The original home was small, dark and had a poorly constructed, non-permitted addition.
We kept most of the original "bones" and turned a 2 bedroom 1 bath house into a 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms home. The original kitchen became the laundry room and one of the additions became a new open kitchen. Skylights in the hallway made the hallway bright and inviting. One of the new bedrooms in the addition was for a master bedroom suite with a vaulted ceiling.
