Build on a lot that was previously thought to be un-suitable for construction, the Panavista Hill House steps up a steep hillside lot. The site required a vertical organization of living spaces and therefore a very stacked form approach for the design. The alternating wood and metal clad boxes rotate and extend from each other. The forms create both public and private outdoor living spaces with views out to the Coast Range.
