This lovely basement bathroom, located off a full-time home office, needed a lift. Used by the business owner and her clients, the space needed to be gender neutral and warm. The shower and floor tiles were left in place. The original pedestal sink was replaced with a burled wood chest of drawers. The countertop and decorative backsplash are quartzite. The warm, neutral wall color was selected to minimize the look of the tile and present a soft backdrop for the rest of the materials. The wall faucet, sconces and towel bars are in polished brass.
