This writer’s many gifts and collections gathered through his life are attractively displayed in an original built-in that was repainted. The original shelving was replaced with glass shelves, and lighting was added to bring style and drama to the space. The client’s favorite color, red, is found in the custom drapes and in the traditional fabric found on the wing chair. Woven leather and wood makes for a masculine and unconventional desk chair. Both chairs were reupholstered.
