This renovation of an urban loft began as a 3 bedroom unit with small and inefficient public spaces. The design team reorganized the plan of the unit to eliminate one bedroom to allow for a more generous and connected living, dining, and kitchen space with expansive views of downtown and mountains beyond. The original floor was in disrepair from prior renovations. A new white oak floor was installed throughout with white oak panels cladding an internal core containing mechanical spaces and a building shaft. Subtle white walls and white lacquer cabinets compliment the warmth of the wood interior.
