This was a large outside that needed to be updated. The previous work had not included proper preparation and the wooden siding had turned black over time. I used a special wood cleaner to remove the black areas and then used an excellent quality, oil based stain to apply 3 coats to seal the wood and provide a long lasting protective finish. The customer was very happy and I am confident that he will not have to re-finish his cottage for many years.
