This is the project I am most proud of to date. I worked closely with the owners of this new build to create a beautiful cottage with a wonderful homely feel but it also shows the combined efforts of some extremely talented professionals. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing blank canvas of the highest quality materials to work with. The owners made a wonderful job of the build, they are the owners of Venture Construction Services Limited and possibly some of the nicest people I have ever met. I hand brushed every piece of the bare pine cladding throughout the entire cottage with a lovely warm paint colour to a flawless finish. The ceiling was hand brushed with stain throughout. The staircase was a mixture of the colour to match the walls and the steps were stained to match the floor. The entire project was just an absolute joy from start to finish and I feel very honored to have been such a big part of it. The cottage is featured in Our Homes Magazine, the Muskoka Winter issue.
