When a young professional couple moved to Portland they wanted to bring San Francisco style to Oregon. They hired Adeeni Design Group to furnish their brand new penthouse in the Pearl district.

First color was crucial to warm up the space, and then a number of cabinets had to be designed for the empty niches left by the builders. The living room received stereo cabinets on either side of the fireplace and a DJ cabinet for the wife who enjoys spinning records for their guests. For the drapery on the windows Claudia designed custom silk fabrics, which she had woven in Thailand, and designed custom seating for the living room to perfectly fit the space. A mother of pearl inlaid cabinet from Syria was made for the bar area, and antique Asian pieces were mixed with modern and transitional furniture.

Once the clients moved to London they again enlisted ADG to help them make all their existing pieces work in their historic Marleborough flat. After rearranging some things and adding a few more pieces everything also worked flawlessly in the London space, including all the warm colors chosen for the Portland home.
