This cozy powder room (or powder bath) has a contemporary flair in rich browns, dark pewter and oil-rubbed bronze metals. A tall hammered bronze mirror keeps the space from being too narrow while the flanked wall sconces provide ample lighting. Amazing metal and glass dragonfly accessories complete this Florida powder room.

The powder room was a small narrow room and needed some warmth. We created a warm and inviting space by incorporating our client’s love for dragonflies but with a modern twist. New flooring was installed and the walls repainted.

An open cabinet was chosen in a rich, warm brown with storage in the multiple drawers. This unusual vanity was topped with warm granite in an unusual pattern. The tall black faucets are artistic and beautifully shaped.

To provide warm lighting with a modern flair, wall sconces were chosen to hang each side of the ribbed, bronze mirror. A white faux wood shutter was installed on the window for privacy and to let some light in and keep the coastal feeling of the beach house.
