This customer just moved back to the area and purchased this great city home that needed some updating. They love the Prairie style of Frank Llyod Wright, and wanted something more open and contemporary for the kitchen. The new layout, dark maple cabinets, and light countertop added just the contrast their kitchen needed. We added a simple square crown molding around the top of the cabinets and a touch of decorative glass with mullions matching the craftsman style. We also added a hint of color by painting the built in cabinets on the far wall.
