This homeowner was ready for a change. His oak cabinets were very cookie-cutter, but still in really good shape. We were able to add some simple updates to make the space fit his personal taste a little better.
By staggering the upper cabinets, adding a trendy crown molding, new satin nickel hardware, fantastic quartz countertops, and a modern backsplash we were able to create more dimension, interest, and character in the kitchen. Turning the island 90 degrees opened up the space to house a dining table, which helped create a larger living room space.
Lastly, adding cabinets in the laundry room, which is directly off the living room, made hiding cleaning supplies a breeze and pulled both spaces together perfectly.
