Located on a highly visible corner lot, this residence had a small back yard
surrounded by tall evergreen hedges. The challenge was to maintain privacy in the yard while opening view points in and out. The design capitalized on a change in grade; a curved entry walk leading from the sidewalk to the garden
was designed to connect with a series of patios. Each patio offers different views of the main garden and front landscape while remaining hidden from view. A trickling water feature and pond add to the intimacy of the space.
