Tucked away in a secluded lot in the Angell neighborhood, this landscape was in need of a revamp. Overgrown plantings were hiding the house's best features while turning the private retreat into a jungle.

To create balance and compliment the architectural features of the front of the house, overgrown trees along with dying shrubs, perennials and ground cover were removed. A new bluestone stepper path was added to weave through the front landscape & side yard. We salvaged existing holly and rhododendron after a good trim.

In the backyard, we worked to trim existing shrubs and trees to renew and open canopy sight lines. A new bed complete with dry river bed creates a backdrop for the bluestone patio. Specimen Alaskan Weeping Cedars, spring-blooming Eastern Redbud, ornamental grasses and shrubs create visual interest all year long.

Evening strolls are that much more relaxing and enchanting as the ornamental grass sways and landscape lighting leads the way. Kichler path lighting meanders all through the property to cast soft, warm light and strike visual interest in the darkest months.
