The Puako Bay residence was conceived as a modern Hawaiian retreat for the owners. The project site is located at the northern western side of Kona, and offers expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Puako Bay as well as volcanic mountain views to Maunia Kea and Mauha Loa. Having such a temperate climate and seeing that the culture of Hawaii brings so much of the outdoors into to their homes one of the large intents was to keep the home open to the expansive views while allowing one to feel outside within the home. The residence offers the perfect place to unwind and relax while enjoying the natural climate and landscape of Hawaii.
