Pub Inspired Lower Level
2011 Contractor of the Year Award Winner - Residential Interior Under $100,000
Working closely with the homeowners on their lower level, Lori Jolin Design created a warm and inviting recreation room and bar inspired by the show "Cheers". To create this requested "pub" feeling, LJD designed a gaming area, cozy fireplace, and an comfortable seating area complete with a large screen TV. The lower level also includes an extra bedroom/playroom, a bathroom, and an exercise room.
When the current owners purchased the home with a geo-thermal heating system under the concrete. While this was a plus, it was unfortunately installed in a way which blocked the light from all of the windows on the east side. As shown in the photographs, the soffits hiding the geo-thermal tubes, plumbing, and electrical wiring were also used to designate the spaces.
