Formerly this kitchen was too hot... literally. A glass ceiling which faced south and leaked made the kitchen unlivable at times. And the family room was too cramped.

So we added a few feet to the family room and took down some partitions between it and the kitchen. We fully renovated the kitchen, with striking blue tile and lower cabinets, a newly improved ergonomic space plan and lots more storage. We re-arranged windows and also added an LED fireplace.
