This master bath had very few structural changes but a lot of re-arrangement to make it very workable for a family aging in place. The curbless, easy clean corian shower stall, toilet room floor and countertop are as beautiful as they are functional. The shower has no enclosure at all, to allow for low maintenance and the possibility of assistance when showering. The rift cut fir cabinets echo the Shoji screen material and the dark hardware helps to create the Tonsu cabinet experience. Some special features were added for easy make up and hair styling. There are two recessed medicine cabinets at the vanity for wet accessories. There is an outlet in a drawer at the seated makeup table for easy access to the hair dryer and curling iron. The medicine cabinet near the make up table is lit inside and the door slides up, and it is especially configured for containing make up items. It is positioned so that it is easily used, including the magnifying mirror function.
