For this project, the homeowners wanted large trees that would be more in scale with their newly constructed home. The landscape architects (Campion Hruby Landscape Architects) designed an allee of 8.0” caliper Japanese (Zelkova Zelkova serrata ‘Village Green’) to draws the eye toward the rear entry of the home. Further, a series of 9.0” Red Maples (Acer rubrum ‘October Glory’) were planted along the driveway providing not only instant shade but a welcome and stately entry to the homeowner’s new home.
