This master bathroom is in an old Tudor style home with limited space, plaster walls and angled ceilings. The most challenging part was the space limitations. The bathroom is located and shared between the homeowner’s bedroom and their younger daughter’s bedroom. There are two entrances into the space making it a Jack & Jill master bathroom.
The homeowner’s goals were to have two vanities (one for them, one for their daughter), a freestanding tub, walk-in shower and a hidden toilet location. All of which was a lot for the size of the room. However, we made it work by designing with curves. The main vanity is a custom, curved master piece with matching custom, curved mirror designed using Crystal Cabinets Keyline inset collection.
It serves as the main focal point in the room and definitely makes a statement with its rich cherry wood and inset doors. The second, smaller vanity is designed with function in mind. It needed to incorporate a small vessel sink and linen storage while utilizing sliding doors because of the toilet location.
Our team was able to accomplish an attractive, functional room that met the homeowner’s goals and taught us valuable custom cabinetry knowledge.
