This project is one of the earliest of which we have good photos. It was done in 2004 and we used a special order retaining wall block that gives the impression the wall is made of many small limestone like blocks on the facade while really being made of stronger and more durable aggregate block.

Here you can just see the back of the block which is shown to be actually large solid blocks as opposed to the facade. Also a nice view of the flower beds between the two walls.

The retaining wall is set against the slop of the front yard leading up to the street. so on the driveway side we built in a staircase to match with the retaining wall stone as close as possible and incorporated the pavers used for the pathway into the landing between the staircase sets.

The path to the front entry was redone with a faux flagstone paver bordered by regular clay brick style pavers.
