This is a newly constructed large country house situated along the banks of a river. We created a lake at the front of the property so while in the dwelling one can look out at water both front and back.

Externally the house has been designed to look like an oversized grand farmhouse, a simple classical form. Internally, the character is derived from the grand window openings yet internal elements such as the stairs, architraves and skirting boards have been treated in a very plain, contemporary manor.
