A new glass pavilion was added to a vintage Marshal Lewis residence situated in Santa Monica’s Rustic Canyon. The glass arcade opens the house to the garden and to the Canyon beyond.

Cascading stairs lead down to the new living space of this quintessential Canyon residence. A collection of spaces each with their own identity, perform individual functions while operating as a unified whole. A series of elegant floating volumes are lifted visually with clerestory windows that allow light to filter into the multi-layered space.
