A single built-in unit was not functioning well for the total needs of the client as well as creating visual imbalance in the space. The fireplace was given the focus it deserves with a new mantle of better proportion and is flanked by new custom built-in storage and display units that hide toys, audio and video equipment and even a cat litter box!

Our client requested a more inviting dining area suitable for entertaining as well as comfortable family dinners. The result has a subtle feature wall with pin dot wallpaper as one of the textural details.
