Rydal Residence

The original brick colonial home was built in the 1957 and while being well maintained, it had never been renovated or modified. The primary goal of the project was to renovate the modest, compartmentalized rooms of the main living areas into an open plan with views and vistas. Basically, the home needed to be updated to accommodate a growing 21st century family. The project included an addition that was carefully woven into the fabric of the existing home. The end result is a kitchen and dining room with period-correct details that appear to have always been a part of the original structure.
