Tucked within an urban working class neighborhood in the Mission District, Terra Ferma Landscapes created a ‘warm’ sunken retreat sheltered from the summer fog. The household reflected a desire for an affordable garden abundant with fruits, vegetables and low water-use flowering perennials. We worked with A+D Architecture to create a garden in sync with our clients’ needs and architectural design. This project was featured in the 2010 AIA Home Tour. Design and Construction for this job was completed in twelve days.
