A previous remodel had cabinets obscuring original windows and a peninsula, with overhead cabinets further closed off the kitchen from adjacent spaces. Removing the cabinets and restoring the original windows opened up the space to much needed natural light. To make up for lost cabinet space, glass fronted cabinets were extended to the countertops for a hutch configuration. The new, bright kitchen boasts state of the art appliances and convenience, but looks right at home in this 1910 Greek Revival historic home.
