Factor Design Build modernized the dated kitchen, primary bedroom, and bathrooms in this iconic Haertling home. By opening the kitchen to the dining room and installing a large bifold door to the rear deck, the renovation improved the home’s flow and connection to its natural surroundings. The design incorporated natural finishes to blend with the landscape and respected the home’s original 1968 modern geometric architecture. Additionally, the accessory structure was transformed into a flexible office or guest space, with a completely updated interior. The renovation aimed to be non-invasive, preserving the iconic exterior while enhancing functionality and comfort.
