Slade Run

This 70 year old home was on the brink of being condemned but we saw its true potential. By opening some walls, converting an open breezeway into functional living space and reimagining each room & exterior, we were able to fully transform it into one of our favorite showcase projects.

We paired beautiful quartz countertops with a fireclay apron front sink, honed marble for the backsplash, white shaker style cabinets and beautiful brushed brass hardware to elevate this kitchen space.

We added light oak floating shelves to add a natural tone to the gray & white kitchen. We also added a gorgeous arch for the walkway between the kitchen and dining room, allowing the high impact wagon wheel chandelier to stand out.

We created a custom fireplace surround with marble slab hearth and matching board & batten around the room. We also installed a custom stained poplar front door to make the house really pop both from the outside and the inside.

We added a beautiful front porch to this classic home to add curb appeal and celebrate the sleepy, pretty street view for the homeowners to enjoy. A shiplap ceiling, gray Trex deck and matte black lighting helped bring it to life.

We paired a gorgeous, boho patterned floor tile with a warm oak double sink vanity and bold matte black fixtures to make this basement bathroom really pop. Our signature black grid shower glass really helped tie the whole space together.

We paired rich marble countertops, warm brushed brass and dynamic porcelain tile flooring to bring this primary bath to life. We balanced soft curves of the arched mirrors and freestanding tub with sharper lines on the floor tile and light fixtures to add an interest to the space.

Designing around center stairs is never easy, but opening the space up between the kitchen and living room helped create a more airy, stylish space.

This wide open galley boasts views into the gorgeous dining room, with custom trim work and a high impact arch. The breakfast nook nestles in nicely to provide in kitchen dining without causing unnecessary obstructions.

This wide galley kitchen didn't leave much space for an island or peninsula, so we built a custom bench with additional storage in front of a large mirror with a high impact light fixture to create the space for in kitchen dining without sacrificing optimal flow.

Working within the existing ceilings of this old Cape Cod meant we had to get creative on how to format a bedroom and ensure proper storage space. That meant closing one window, while opening another to ensure we didn't lose precious natural light.

While we had to say goodbye to the faux beams due to their poor quality, we were able to salvage and reimagine the fireplace and refinish the original oak flooring.

This kitchen was closed off from the breezeway and the living space - making it very tight and small. By opening everything up and using lighter tones in the kitchen it helped make the space feel larger and more current
