Small Modern Bathroom
This project centered on transforming a small bathroom into a modern and efficient space that suited the client’s contemporary lifestyle. The client desired a design that would maximize functionality while introducing a clean and modern aesthetic to create a more enjoyable daily experience.
The design goals focused on enhancing the spatial layout, incorporating sleek and modern finishes, and creating a bathroom that felt open and bright despite its small footprint. The client expressed a preference for a minimalist aesthetic with clean lines, neutral tones, and high-quality materials. They also sought to improve the storage solutions and add a sense of luxury within the constraints of the compact space.
The redesign began by reconfiguring the bathroom layout to optimize the use of space. Custom-built cabinetry was installed to provide ample storage without overpowering the room. To visually expand the space, a frameless glass shower enclosure replaced the outdated shower curtain, and large-format tiles were chosen for the floors and walls to create a seamless look.
The material palette featured a mix of warm, natural wood finishes for the vanity and polished chrome fixtures to balance warmth with modernity. A floating vanity was selected to create the illusion of more floor space, while integrated lighting beneath the cabinetry added a subtle glow. The addition of a large, well-placed mirror enhanced natural light and made the space feel larger.
The completed bathroom is a sophisticated and highly functional retreat. The streamlined design achieves the desired modern aesthetic while addressing the practical needs of the client. Highlights include the custom floating vanity, the sleek frameless shower enclosure, and the thoughtfully selected finishes that elevate the overall look. The room now feels airy, bright, and welcoming, providing a luxurious experience within a small space.
