This dated master bathroom from Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning (Muirfield plan) was equipped with carpeted floors, a light box, Looney-Tunes wall paper, and saloon doors.
We gutted the bathroom, ripping out the carpet, light box, and everything else.
We laid 20"x20" porcelain tile on a running bond pattern, set a new vanity cabinet in a rich chocolate tone, a Colonial Cream countertop, tiled the shower in a 13"x20" matching tile, and topped it all off with a fresh coat of paint.
Instead of having one large mirror, we broke up the space by adding two framed mirrors, and a tower cabinet for linens. We eliminated the medicine cabinet, but added tiered storage for bottles in the drawers.
