This condominium project began with a 3,500 square foot concrete shell, however, several of the plumbing locations were predetermined, which was somewhat limiting to the design. The final design solution included a large master suite, two guest bedrooms with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, his study as well as her study, and a large walk-behind bar with storage for over 200 wine bottles. The nearly black wood floor was utilized because of the large amount of light coming into the unit. With the walk-behind bar so central to the entire floor plan, entertaining is an easy affair. The design team included Rick Koehler and Stephanie Johnson, Leslie Derrick of Pear Tree Interiors, and Kimball Derrick for cabinetry and kitchen design.
