This kitchen was definitely a puzzle! The kitchen was a very small closed off room in the back of the house, which is now the bar and banquette area, while we used space in the dining area to make room for the new and improved kitchen. The kitchen is two-toned with a marble backsplash, marble mosaic feature behind the wall and a small storage-based island in the center. The warm feel to this space is exactly what the clients wanted. The breakfast nook and banquette sit in the next room with ample lighting, a built-in microwave and the coffee bar. The bar is open and airy with floating shelves that pull in the warmth of the wood that carries throughout both spaces.
