Previously, this busy family's kitchen had been closed off from the rest of their home. Our design opened it up to the family room, creating a welcoming and comfortable space for entertaining. The style is transitional — a mix of modern industrial and traditional elements. A gray brick-like backsplash tile, gray quartz countertops with a concrete finish and vintage-looking counter stools lend a polished industrial vibe. Light green Shaker-style cabinetry brings in a more traditional element. The custom walnut vent hood and tobacco-stained oak floors add warmth to this family hub.
