Squeeze of Lime

Originally intended as a chic bachelorette pad for a high-powered woman in tech, this Marin residence evolved into a new family home when the homeowner met her future husband during the design process. Marrying the couple’s individual styles, we designed a fresh, youthful residence enlivened by bold color. Remodeling the media room, media bath, laundry room and office, we restructured the residence for a contemporary Californian feel.

Custom built-in cabinetry was designed for the media room, allowing for clean, functional storage. Rather than keeping the shelf backs a clean white, they were painted an intense orange making each shelf pop and connecting the storage to the dynamic wallpaper.

A large Phillip Jeffries sectional doubles as a queen-size sleeper for guests and is accented with blue throw pillows. A Made Goods table lamp sits elegantly upon a Century Lichfield Bromley table in black, providing a surface area for games, drinks, and reading material.
