The kitchen in this home was dramatically undersized in relation to the overall scale of the house. To add space, we knocked down walls and built a small addition for an elongated work wall in the kitchen. Half walls on either side of the range helped to maintain an open concept and visually connect both ends of the first floor. We built a walk-in pantry and incorporated an extremely large island to provide endless counterspace. For a wow factor, a unique extra large 2’x4’ ombre-patterned tile creates a seamless backsplash. We were even able to add a new, expansive window over the sink to give a perfect view of the backyard pool. We made this space larger and more adequate for the home, while finding a designated place for everything in this kitchen. Welcome to a clutter-free kitchen.
