Hi! I'm Emily Caudill Klapkowski, the owner of You-Neek Designs. My passion is creating designs for interiors, exteriors and everything in between. I specialize in renovations, so I am a construction junkie. I love taking a home that was designed decades ago and adapting it to fit the current functional needs of a family in the 21st century. Ready to knock down a wall and open things up? Do you want to create an outdoor oasis to extend your living space into mother nature? Thinking of an addition or remodel and don't know where to start? I'm your gal. We will talk through your style and functional goals and I will help you piece it all together. I have a full network of trusted contractors for whatever the project scope. The devil is in the details. And boy oh boy are there details in renovating your home. I will be there from concept to completion making sure the design is executed correctly, in a timely fashion and within a budget you are comfortable with. At the end of the day, it's your house and it should reflect YOU.

Emily was great to work with. She is very personable and organized. Our project was finished ahead of schedule. She offers opinions when asked for, and will offer as little or as much guidance as the customer requests. We were not living in the city at the time, so she gathered samples and provided options so that we could make most of the decisions in a minimal number of meetings. Emily took care of everything: deliveries, procuring and negotiating with the contractors and making on site decisions or adjustments when needed. She was very good about keeping us informed along the way. We are very pleased with our renovations and strongly recommend You-Neek Designs.

This was the first project that we worked with You-Neek Designs and it was a great experience! Emily was extremely organized and had a great plan for us when we started the project for her. The project was a kitchen remodel. The project was completed on time and in budget. Emily brought a very good team with her that addressed all concerns and went above and beyond addressing problems due to previous renovation. All issues were addressed to our satisfaction. This was our 3rd and final major renovation to the house. We only wish we had find Emily and her team earlier. We have used Emily after this project to assist on design of a commercial building that we onw.

Our renovation included an addition and deck, plus updating the original plumbing and electric. You-Neek Design team was there with us from meeting with the structural engineers to being there on move-in day. You-Neek Design provided us with the latest products from lighting to tile samples to make us feel confident in our choices during the remodeling of four bathrooms and overhauling a kitchen. They made a stressful process turn into a manageable one with their attention to every detail, especially making sure all the decisions would add up to one seamlessly designed house with each space complimenting one another. The designs are not the latest fads but ones that will remain in style for years to come. Thank you You-Neek!

This was my first experience hiring a designer and I couldn't be happier with the result! Emily from You-Neek Designs listened to me and was very deliberate in adhering to the budget I gave her. The result is everything I wanted. She redesigned our 2 level deck into a welcoming addition to our home. I was given several furniture options and layouts so I could see what the end result would be. She reused some furniture and with accents made my deck look expensive but warm and very inviting. Throughout the process it was clear to me her primary goal was me loving the deck. I've had so many compliments on it and plan to use Emily again on rooms inside the house.

You-Neek was a pleasure to work with! She helped us out a lot of character and fun into our new house. She is very attentive and is great at figuring out exactly what you want before you even know it yourself! We will certainly be coming back to work with her again when we have more projects in the upcoming years!

Any designer can deliver on an unlimited budget. It requires true talent to take a small kitchen and an even smaller budget and come up with a fabulous, functional design. Emily at You-Neek designs worked with me every step of the way to create an amazing kitchen that is truly the heart of my new home and a reflection of my personal style. Emily was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She took the basic ideas that we had and made them into something wonderful and tangible. We had her start with our dining room and now she Is expanding on to other parts of our house as she did such a fantastic job. Our dining room is now my favorite room in our house! Commented: What is the name of the quartz countertop?Thank you! The pics on the mfg website are terrible. It is not that dark, but the pattern is beautiful. It's a light grey background. It is one of the pricier options, just to give you a heads up.
