Landscape update on a waterfront property near Beaufort, South Carolina. Existing stormwater and erosion issues were addressed using raised gravel troughs, gravel swales and a rain garden. Overgrown and weak plantings were replaced or transplanted and then bolstered with a variety of native plants and traditional southern favorites. The disorganized driveway and parking court was realigned and expanded, adding additional guest parking. Other elements such as a new trash service enclosure, southern sugar maple allée and custom copper wire trellis add a unique flair to this beautifully designed contemporary home.
