The kitchen was designed to include the owners' collection of mid century Russel Wright dinnerware and George Nelson clocks, as well as being a family space with good circular flow to prevent traffic jams. The island is 11' long and serves as a party or buffet counter at holidays as well as being the perfect place to roll out pie dough and pastries. Cookbooks are tucked in the back of the island, conveniently accessible to the desk area.
