The owners of this modern condo home in Chicago's exciting River North neighborhood wanted a simple, colorful, casually elegant space for relaxing and parties. We designed a pergola of white-painted metal and ipe slats for shading, added ipe screening along the walls, and planted trees, grasses and annuals to soften the hard lines of the building structure. And....Voila! An urban nightspot that is the envy of all.
