MODERNIZING THE BACHELOR PAD This Upper East Side classic six lives in a prewar building designed by Emery Roth. Our client was a 20th century American art collector and bachelor who wanted a comfortable, sophisticated home he could call his own. With a balanced mix of traditional and modern styles, we married some of his existing antique pieces with more modern furnishings, while being complementary to the artworks in the apartment. Textural, colorful pieces brought pops of modernity throughout. Custom lighting showcased his extensive art collection. The result is an inviting, handsome home.
