The Parkway

This gorgeous new kitchen by Foster Custom Woodworks has the look of fine antique furniture! The wood is natural cherry with a sable glaze. The lower cabinets have flush inset drawers, frame and panel doors, and are topped with soapstone. Upper cabinets flaunt lovely reclaimed antique glass panels with a double rounded framing bead, one bank of which has bypassing sliding doors and is traditionally constructed, using no metal glides. The crown moulding merges yet contrasts beautifully with the ceiling trim. The shelving is one inch thick solid cherry with a nosing profile. The owner, who had a clear vision of how she wanted her kitchen to look, had a hand in many of the features such as including the faux keyholes which detail the drawers and hand antiquing the pulls and knobs.
