This project was to remove the existing carport roof & build a 12' out x 32' wide addition along the side of their house. Most of this new space is now the Family Room with a 12' x 8' Laundry Room. We had to move the overhead power lines underground.

The concrete footings were poured, two courses of 8" block, 2" exterior foam (later covered with Aluminum Skirting), then the monolithic slab was poured. The framing has started!

The windows & doors are being installed and the T-111 plywood siding will match the existing Lake House siding!

This vaulted ceiling is being covered with "Tongue & Groove" Pine wood with recessed lighting over the Laundry Room.

For this project the Client will be eventually be replacing the existing metal roof with asphalt shingles, so we did the traditional asphalt shingle application and ran the Ice & Water Shield plus the new shingles UNDER the metal roofing.

This picture shows the new vinyl soffit with custom cut-in soffit vents allowing fresh air flow through the "Cold Roof" and out the higher roof vents PER THE BUILDING CODE.

This picture shows the Family Room vaulted ceiling during the installation of the Tongue & Groove Pine Wood ceiling. The ceiling has trough vents with R-38 Fiberglass insulation.
