To minimize construction cost and get more for less on this house, we figured to cantilever the grill deck and nook addition with steel I-beams. We build a lot with steel to minimize cost and optimize space - something that is unique to our construction process that you will not see with other residential contractors. We enjoy the challenging topography of Vestavia lots and have been building on the “hills” all our lives.
