These well-traveled empty-nesters were ready for a whole house update/refresh and wanted to showcase the unique memorabilia they'd collected from their many travels, including living in Japan. We replaced the mix of laminate, carpet, and wood with luxury vinyl plank throughout the main floor (that coordinated beautifully with their solid wood stained doors) to give the rooms a sense of flow and cohesiveness. New white baseboards and painted trim/spindles and kitchen cabinets significantly lighten the feel of each room. Natural quartzite countertops and stone fireplace add texture and keep the rooms from being too stark.

Their new master bathroom is gorgeous and features a walk-in marble shower with dual heads and a modern free standing tub.
