Tilt top tables have always offered a perfect surface to display painted decoration. The table can be used in an upright position, or when lowered
as shown, can function as an art piece or fire screen in a variety of interior areas.
In this example, a still life of roses and lilies in a basket decorates the center with floral garlands weaving in and out of a deep red frame. Classical palmettes and feathered scrolls in deep reds occupy the four corners. The entire table has been aged and toned to recreate an antique painted piece.
