This original tiny farmhouse in downtown La Grange, IL, had two only two bedrooms and a single bathroom residing on the first floor. We gutted the majority of the home and added an expanded second floor to house a third bedroom and master bathroom. Given the age of the house, there were some structural limitations and numerous other challenges that we solved through creative and budget-minded solutions.
