By adding soft straight cornices in a fun fabric and mounting them mid-way from the top of the window and the ceiling adds some height to the space.

This is the before picture of a basement space that needed a little pick me up.

A better look at the fabric. You can also see the trim on the top and bottom of these cornices that really kept the horizontal lines going.

This shaped cornice done in a Robert Allen fabric really brought in the light blue the customer desired. Her previous cornice board was predominately a dark brown so this fabric brightened things up!

This simple flat fold mock roman shade valance added just a touch of glam to this rustic space. A valance take away a bit of glare while still maintaining good light.

The recently redone laundry room in a rustic style needed a soft finishing touch.. To maintain light in the space a valance was added.

This is a shaped/scalloped board mounted valance in a linen fabric with an embroidered floral motif. This added the "topping" my customer desired.

Just a straight fabric wrapped Cornice with no trim. It didn't need it with this fun fabric. The cornices were mounted just high enough to be close to the angled ceiling but low enough that the blinds can hide behind them when raised.
