Tranquil Transitional
Tucked in the scenic hills of La Verne, California, this full-scope bathroom renovation brought fresh life to a cherished family home. Baby boomers Chris and Stacey, having recently finished raising their four college-age children, were ready to reinvest in their space with a design that felt timeless, restorative, and rooted in nature. As busy professionals, they didn’t have the time to manage selections or construction oversight, so they turned to our Pasadena interior design studio to lead the project from concept through completion.
The scope included a complete gut and redesign of both the downstairs guest bathroom and the upstairs secondary bath. Floor plans were thoughtfully reconfigured to open up the spaces, improve functionality, and introduce ample built-in storage. Inspired by the clients’ love of calming colors, florals, and traditional charm, we layered in natural materials, such as wood, rattan, and textural finishes, to create an approachable elegance and a dialogue with the outdoors.
Project designed by Pasadena interior design studio Soul Interiors Design. They serve Pasadena, San Marino, La Cañada Flintridge, Sierra Madre, Altadena, and surrounding areas.
