Trevino master suite

This was a really interesting project. Although only 15 years old, and in a nice subdivision, the existing bathroom had pretty basic, builder grade cabinets and cultured marble counter tops. They also had a 7' long mirror and long strip light above the mirror. The tub area had some solid surface pieces on the three walls as a splash, and the front skirt was the standard removable fiberglass panel.
Another issue was the closet entrance. It previously angled in on both sides to create a "V" with doors on either side to enter the his & hers closets. This design ate up too much space for the door swings and took away precious closet footage as well as creating a claustrophobic closet with the door always being in the way.
During demolition we removed the angled walls and add the pocket door entry. The mirrored door gave the space an even bigger feel as well as giving the owners a stunning full length mirror to verify their wardrobes look perfect!

We chose these beautiful cherry cabinets to match the owners bedroom furniture. During demolition we also framed in for two built-in medicine cabinets that have outlets inside the cabinets to hide the re-chargeable shaver and toothbrushes!
The owner picked out the gorgeous marble tile that we used as the backsplash for the sink and tub areas. With this dramatic look, we went with more subtle countertops and found a perfect match with Cambria, which has a great organic look, not usually seen in man made solid surfaces. The Kohler undermount porcelain sinks also worked to harmonize with the whole design with their non-traditional rectangle shape.
We added the three sconces to provide the best light for getting ready for work or the big night out! The custom designed chandelier above the tub helped bring the elegance to their new bathroom, along with the three piece crown molding throughout the bathroom and bedroom.
The original arched drywall entry to the bathroom was removed and re-designed to create a much more dramatic entry. The paneled trim was made to coordinate with the door and window trim while complimenting the huge crown molding.
